Gauging peoples interest on a eBook written by a successful Executive Recruiter on how to get the best chance of being interviewed and hired in today’s market. The pit falls in resumes, social media, how to approach phone interview, face to face interview and follows. The Recruiter has 6 years in the business placing over a $1 million dollars with of candidates in the past 3 years alone.

Would this eBook be of interest to people?
What would someone pay for this book?
And would people pay more to have their resume reviewed be the author and if so what would be a reasonable cost for that services as well?

Thank you for your time and thought into this question.

If you have nothing else to do, write it and give it a try. The incremental cost to you of publication and sales is almost zero after you have it written.

There are always some people in the market for this kind of information.
If you present it well in advertising, yes.
I am sure you are right about having the author being able to review resumes for a fee. i would suggest a fee that would basically give you $30/hour to review the resume and make thoughtful responses and suggestions. For $30 you can say it is great or it sucks. For $100 you could provide suggested rewording or reorganizing without doing it all yourself.

Best of luck. …

June 2010

Sharron Angle greeted supporters at Stoney’s Restaurant in Las Vegas.
Reporter Nathan Baca approached her to ask about her Social Security plan,

Her website calls for ‘transitioning out’ Social Security and Medicare.

When asked to define ‘transitioning out’,

Sharron Angle: Transition into a personalized account… personalized Social Security accounts that they can’t raid.

Nathan Baca: The stock market almost crashed in 2008, meaning millions of seniors would have had their savings accounts wiped out.

Sharron Angle: Now, you’re putting words into my mouth from Harry Reid. I want you to be very clear on this. I’m here to save Social Security… Harry Reid is here to bankrupt Social Security.

Is this glaring bit of short sightedness the reason Sharron Angle and Rand Paul steer clear of any media except right wing media? Or is this exactly what the "new right" wants?

That was one of the single most entertaining, enlightening and hysterically funny pieces of video I have seen in years.

They will only stay in the cocoon of safety that Fox News and the right-wing media represents. They learned their lesson after Rachel Maddow took Rand Paul apart…keep their loonies as undercover as possible.

Star Parker is the founder and president of CURE, the Center for Urban Renewal & Education, a 501(c)3 non-profit think tank that provides a national voice of reason on issues of race and poverty in the media, inner city neighborhoods, and public policy.

Prior to her involvement in social activism, Star Parker was a single welfare mother in Los Angeles, California. After receiving Christ, Star returned to college, received a BS degree in marketing and launched an urban Christian magazine. The 1992 Los Angeles riots destroyed her business, yet served as a springboard for her focus on faith and market-based alternatives to empower the lives of the poor.

http://www.urbancure.org/starparker.asp

Star Parker holds an undergraduate degree in marketing.

Marketing.

Not History.
Not Law.
Not Political Science.

Don’t get me wrong, I congratulate her on her accomplishments but she is not fit to hold the office of President. Palin is a Journalim major and we all know how that went.

Palin is much more qualified. She could be the Next Democrat to be sworn in after Obama’s second term.

By Floyd and Mary Beth Brown

Barack Obama’s church, Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, which he has attended since 1991, has some very unique and disturbing ideas and beliefs. It is a self-proclaimed Africentric Christian church, which means its members embrace their connection with Africa, and its teachings are centered on all things African and African culture. This is the church where Obama converted to the Christian faith, and it has now grown to over 5,000 members. The mainstream media have ignored discussing this important influence on the presumptive Democratic nominee. It needs a full examination.

Africentric beliefs place an emphasis on identifying African presence in the Bible. The church offers classes in Swahili, and it has youth programs for young men and women, Intonjane and Isuthu, Swahili words for entering manhood and womanhood. Kwanzaa, the African-focused holiday created in the 1960s is observed by congregants along with a Thanksgiving Day service called Umoja Karamu. This special service tells the story of the black family starting from its West African origins to present day using drums, storytelling and dancing.

Trinity emphasizes the African roots of Christianity in its Bible classes. One example they like to use is the story about the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8. Traditional African clothing is worn by the pastor and some members. Also, other African symbols such as the pan-African flag are prominently displayed.

(Column continues below)

Trips to Africa are regularly made by members. The church’s longtime pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, once accompanied black supremacist Louis Farrakhan to Libya to meet with Col. Moammar Gadhafi. Obama has himself traveled repeatedly to his father’s homeland, Kenya. He has a brother still living in that conflict-riddled country. Obama has even spoken out during his campaign about the current crisis in Kenya, where over 700 lives have been lost. The Marxist opposition leader, Raila Odinga, comes from the same tribe as Obama’s late father. His older brother Roy, a militant Muslim, supports Odinga. Odinga reportedly has joined forces with an extremist Islamic group that wants to oust the presently pro-Western government of Kenya that won the recent elections. While campaigning in New Hampshire, Obama took a call from Odinga (who claims to be his cousin) and appears to have sided with him in the conflict.

When Obama joined Trinity United Church of Christ, he promised to uphold the church’s "Black Value System." This declaration is where members affirm their commitment to God, the "black community," the "black family" and the "black work ethic," in addition to disavowing "the pursuit of ‘middle-classness.’" They believe the "competitive" nature of white "entrapment of black middle-classness" will cheat blacks of their African identity while keeping them "captive" to white culture.

"I believe in the power of the African-American religious tradition to spur social change," Obama claims. Not only that, he says he has questioned "the idolatry of the free market" because of his faith.

The "Black Value System" statement was written in the 1980s by church members. It means the members embrace "things African above things American," says black political commentator Erik Rush, who also says this should be as alarming as a Republican presidential candidate "belonging to the Aryan Brethren Church of Christ." Tucker Carlson of MSNBC once described Trinity as having a "racially exclusive theology" that "contradicts the basic tenets of Christianity."

Wright, who married Obama and his wife, Michelle, and baptized their daughters, now serves as his spiritual adviser. Wright is radically Africentric.

"We are an African people," Wright preaches, "and remain true to our native land, the mother continent." But he goes further than that and has described the 9/11 attacks as a "wake-up call" to "white America" for "ignoring the concerns of people of color." And in one sermon he shouted, "Racism is how this country was founded and how this country is still run. … We believe in white supremacy and black inferiority and believe it more than we believe in God. … And. And. And. Gawd! Has GOT! To be SICK! OF THIS S***!"

Obama’s presidential campaign has tried to distance him from Wright. Last February, when Obama announced his run for the presidency, it revoked an earlier invitation to have Wright give the opening prayer at the event.

The socialist beliefs of Barack Obama’s church should be a major concern to voters because they are far out of the mainstream of American thought. Obama’s connection to the militant opposition leader in Kenya and his supporting militant Islamic groups trying to overthrow the U.S.-friendly government in that country should be of concern. Al-Qaida would love to see the takeover of Kenya occur.

I find it a little disturbing and creepy, because he is pushing hard for the global poverty act which will give hundreds of billions of dollars to the UN to fight poverty in Africa….can’t we just fix the US’s own problems first before trying to help everyone else??

Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of ‘Free’ Health Care
Every new ‘right’ the U.S. government has promised has turned into a massively expensive failure, yet the media continue to cheer supporters of tax-funded programs.

Americans are obsessed with rights. We always have been.

But the concept of rights our forefathers laid out in the Declaration of Independence has changed dramatically. Those rights – life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness – were acknowledged to come from the Almighty, given equally to all people. Today’s rights come from Almighty Government.

Health care is the newest “right.” From presidential candidates’ universal plans to the return of HillaryCare to Michael Moore’s movie “Sicko,” it’s all over the media.

Calling it a “right” is an emotional argument advanced by those who want others to pay for their health care. They bring out the children and ask whether anyone can deny them the “basic human right” of health care – but don’t bother with the evidence showing how health care in this country would be harmed by government control.

A look at other modern “rights” might give us a clue about how well a new system would work. These rights started out as privileges, among them education and a paid retirement.

Now education is not only considered a right, it’s a mandate. How well has it worked? American students attend school at least until their teen years, but 15-year-olds ranked 24th out of 29 countries in aptitude for “real-life math problems,” according to The Washington Post. Literacy surveys suggest one in five American adults is functionally illiterate. And taxpayers keep shelling out money to fund the system.

Americans also cherish the right to retire – but we expect to be supported in our old age. Younger workers and employers are forced to support retirees, funding another right.

And how well has that worked? The poorly designed, outdated Social Security system is disintegrating rapidly as the number of retirees balloons. But once you’ve established a right, it’s difficult to take it away. The government, which promises such rights, must go to its sugar daddy – taxpayers – to keep the rights coming.

We’re already well on our way toward the health care right/mandate. Want to be more like Canada? It’s not that far off. Cato’s Michael Cannon has pointed out that third parties in America pay 86 cents of every dollar of our health care – about the same as Canada’s socialized system.

What we – or rather, those third parties – pay for health care is already determined by the government as well. Emory University medical professor Robert Swerlick has noted that “the pricing of medical care in this country is either directly or indirectly dictated by Medicare.” This market meddling even causes doctor shortages, he says, in needed areas of specialty.

Prescription drugs are already considered a right, thanks to political moves like the Medicare drug benefit and massive media support. A Business & Media Institute study found broadcast journalists treating prescription drugs as though they grew on trees. Overall, the coverage supported the idea that medications should magically be available to everyone at far lower costs.

Of course, the magic behind new “rights” is your money.

Cannon and fellow Cato expert Michael Tanner explained problems with tax-funded care in their book “Healthy Competition: What’s Holding Back Health Care and How to Free It.” If health care is guaranteed to everyone, how much does everyone get? Who decides who receives what, and how would the care be administered? What happens if everyone wants the most expensive treatment available?

“With the wide variety of medical tests and treatments that consumers may claim as their right, someone at some point must decide where the right to health care ends, lest the nation be bankrupted,” they wrote.

We’re well on our way toward that as well. Our “rights” to Social Security and Medicare devour about 40 percent of the federal budget. State and local property tax revenue, which normally funds education, mushroomed about 35 percent between 2000 and 2005, according to the Tax Foundation. We can’t afford any more “rights” like that.

But the left says tax-funded care is right for the children. Meanwhile, what becomes of them? They’re growing up in an America where the “rights” mentality is deeply ingrained, and the media continue to feed them with it.

When the children come of age, perhaps they’ll want the right to a job. They won’t remember that France already tested that idea for us, and it led to high unemployment and rioting. Perhaps they’ll guarantee Disney vacations for all families and force childless Americans to pay for it. “The pursuit of” will conveniently fade away as they look to government to guarantee happiness.

They will know less and less of a true right – liberty – and have no idea where it comes from.

Man how did you get such a long question on Y!A?

What is funny in this entire discussion is the socialists who want government control of health care will tell you that other countries do it so should we. Which reminds me of my mother, she used to chide me when I used such a phony argument was that if every one else jumped off the bridge would I also.

She was right, just because other countries have tripped down the path of socialism does not justify AMerica doing it.

No one in this country is without health care, anything to the contrary is just a LIE. YOu can get care when you need it, just go to an ER and they will care for you, and the most amazing thing about this one simple great feature of our country, you will receive care regardless of your ability to pay.

SO you see, this whole thing is smoke and mirrors, kind of like class envy. The socialists will tell you you do not get what those who have more money get, which is a LIE. Care is care.

Each year top companies – both Indian and MNCs – come for campus recruitment. The most desired management candidate is hired with lucrative pay packets, incentives, and facilities. These business graduates are given immense respect that no other incumbent employee would get. Why? What’s so great about a Masters in Business Administration (MBA)? Moreover, people from MBA colleges in Delhi are the most sought-after by corporate giants. Here are some reasons to say why companies make a beeline at MBA colleges in Delhi each year to recruit the fresh graduates.

Addressing the International Market
MBA colleges in Delhi have special curriculum to address the international market, milieu, and competitive behavior of the people. It is essential to know the domestic market no doubt. However, all employees working in the core management team of companies should be receptive to the changes, wants, and dynamics of the international market. It is this useful knowledge that MBA colleges in Delhi instill in its pupils.

The students learn managing team, product, machines, and all factors in the industry keeping in mind the international market. They also learn how to understand the human resources internationally. The same is applicable to financial prospects, and international markets.

Addressing Successful Curriculum
Today, management involves managing people, money, and global market primarily. One should not also forget the influence of IT that has suffused into our lifestyle. The fast life, expectations for high quality goods, high pay, and cut throat competition are some of the aspects which also influence the market.

MBA colleges in Delhi offer curriculum which are currently required in today’s business. This mainly focuses on finance, human resources, and global market. The use of technology in day to day life and management of funds, foreign investments, loan management, and takeovers are elaborately taught to the pupils. As a result, companies find it convenient to expect valuable solutions from these students when they are given a similar practical problem.

Addressing Communication Skills
Today, IT has made way for a superb communication system. Corporate to corporate meetings are often conducted rampantly through webcam. There are video conferencing, email promotions, and chat systems which have made communication the in thing today.

A lot of managerial activities can be streamlined through effective use of communication. It is how managers use their communication skills and how they exploit the communication system that a business can succeed in a competitive market.

For instance, many managers succeed in their endeavor by working on social media networks, mobilizing the mass with promotional tricks, and using effective language to address issues in a meeting. MBA colleges in Delhi proactively invite guest lecturers, communication specialist, and public speakers to ensure that the students learn to manage communication skills effectively.

Addressing Practical Knowledge
The only flaw which a management fresher lacks is practical experience. Many business schools across India offer highly sought-after curriculum. However, what the students lack is practical knowledge that is so essential for business success. MBA colleges in Delhi especially cater to this aspect throughout the study session.

There are practical hands-on applications, games, and simulation-based case studies for the students to apply their theoretical knowledge. Reputed MBA colleges in Delhi invite corporate people from time to time for interesting lectures. Additionally, there are summer camps, job-based project works to hone the managerial skills of the students.

Companies hiring management fresher vie for workers who are intelligent, knowledgeable, and practical at the same time to handle the real life situations in the corporate sector. MBA colleges in Delhi address this issue in a greater depth. The portfolio of the student is packed with on-the-job learning of management techniques that also highlights the core managerial issues today.

MBA colleges in Delhi have the ambience to address the needs of the corporate sector – and, that’s the reason why the students passing out from these institutes are so highly sought-after.

,

There is no question here and this is a question and answer forum./
