Explain to me how you think that you have lived your political life from the perspective of "Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country" I refer to the amount of money that Mr. Gingrich received from Freddie Mac for the consulting fee. I think of that money as the citizens money, not some accountant who writes the check for almost any amount billed.

Yes, but i dont think you could do any of the work, you would have to hire a couple of CPAs on the staff. and Im not sure if you can afford that. Best of luck with everything though

It’s like when someone makes a political decision COMPLETELY on their own, on their own whim and of their own volition, without consulting anyone. There’s a specific word for it, but I can’t remember for the life of me! Google doesn’t come up with anything and none of the synonyms for autocratic are the word I’m looking for (if someone tells me it I’ll have an epiphany and remember what it was)

Anyone know? This has been bugging me for DAYS now.

Yes, and as a former journalist who worked in the media for 15-years, I can atest that there is certainly a politcal bias in the mainstream media. However, it’s not in the stories they air, but the ones that they don’t air. A couple of examples: most of the outlets minimize the number of times they air stories about crimes committed by illegal immigrants. Also, when a gun-owner successfully defends his/her person or property by having a firearm. Recent research just released a couple of weeks ago shows that the media, (with the exception of Fox News), aired a much higher percentage of negative stories against John McCain than they Did President Elect Obama. Now, here’s something that is driving the mainstream media, even more than liberalism; it’s political correctness. News stories that places minorities, or anyone other than a white male in a bad light receives minimal coverage.

I am trying to win the contract to manage the Democratic presidential campaign. I need to convince them that I have the best strategy to win the majority of Electoral College votes in the upcoming election. My candidiate has good grassroots base in the mid-west and in both the northeast and west coast. He was week in the South, Southwest, and the northern tier of states. He fared well with women voters and middle class, gays, Latinos, and elderly. Did not score highly with African Americans. He is not the incumbent. He is a former gov. of Virginia and junior Senator from that state. He is a veteran and served in the first Iraq war. VP running mate is a female and polls very highly w/women and blacks. My opponent is the sitting VP and is over 70, from FL. He is a veteran of Vietnam. He polls well w/men, Christians, low income voters, and Latinos in FL>. I need to advise my candidate which states to concentrate time and money on. My electoral college has to be 270 or more. HELP
